Audiopharmacy's new album
"Spare Change" is now available through IDC distrobution.

UPDATED: 9/28/08

So refreshingly, after a slightly difficult summer for some of us (personal reasons) Audiopharmacy's fate has finally taken a turn for the best. The last shows have been great vibes. (except for the hyphy disorganized kmel/a-digga entertainment project we should have never took on). Other than that...things have been rediculous...in a good way.

CLUB 6 (SF)
-The Artsf/Audiopharmacy/Chuck Fenda/Zion I show at Club 6 was great vibes: First, Stewpise set it of with some slammin reggae as usual. Then the newest addition to APP, "Panthelion" opened up for us with a emotionally slumpin set as usual. (jazz hip hop) Peep em on our top friends list at www.myspace.com/audiopharmacy when you get a chance. Then Audiopharmacy hit with our 4 piece...Teao, Ras'kdee, Keepyahjoy, and our new drummer, Kwame. (also drummer of Puerto Rico's first and legendary reggae/roots culture band, "Zioneers") the AP click is sounding more solid than ever. After a successful night, 7 of us in the pharm van, hit the road at 5am, took and hour rest a rest stop at 7 am, then kept rollin into los Angeles just to make it in time for load in at noon at the Ford Amplitheater.

INTERNATIONAL INDIGENOUS HOP HOP GATHERING (L.A.):
Twas a beautiful indigenous event here. Audiopharmacy, Olmeca, Visionaries, QueseIMC, Quinto Sol, Rebel Diaz, el Vuh, traditional norther/southern dance & drumming and more. A beautiful event with the perfect blend of sunshine, revolution, and peace. The stadium was outdoors. Audiopharmacy hit soon after the sun had set, the lighting and sound was on point, and the show was executed proper. DJ Numark killed it at the afterparty. and Echo park did us proper for a sno-cone breakfast at the lake. Definately a nice weekend in l.a.
Next show...Hyphy kmel/rick lee/audioupharmacy/stepwise.

KARIBBEAN CITY (OAKLAND):
YOOO! This was the first time I have ever experienced promoters this bad and unprofessional. to be continued...

Much love to those who made it out to Teao and Ryno's b-day improv jam session/reggae/hip hop/movie night at the park…phew. Was crackin. Some of those improv jam sessions were straight up epic. However, these “Vitamins,” by Offerings are crucial to your diet. Some of the songs are either unreleased/unfinished Audiopharmacy jams, classics & blueprints and/or are funk, soul, world, hip hop, trip hop, reggae, dub songs by various artists, that were extracted from dozens of computers internationally. Shite, some of the illest tracks are even swooped from other dj’s mix tapes. All in all, the music is extremely phenominal and it must be shared. New York:
real quik recap...NY was off the hook.
Keepyahjoy, Teao, and Gregg Green all
linked up in Brooklyn as usual, then ended
up at SOB's. The home-girls- Omega Kilay
(Cuban women in hip hop) were performing
with Queen Goddess and La Bruja over there.
Not to mention, some of the folks from
Trust Your Struggle art crew also threw down.
A dope show f'sho. Late that night in the
subway station, Cyrus, Keepyahjoy, Greg, and
Teao heard- "Teeeaoo!" from across the platform.
It was Noel, SF native. Damn, I guess the Bay's
just takin NY by swarm these days. To make a
long story kinda short, she gave them the
green light to throw down live at a real nice
apt. in Brooklyn...real nice. It was on. After
a week of schitzo sunshine to snow weather,
recording sessions, meeting mad cool folks
in the streets, apartments, record stores, coffee
shops, shows, a video/radio interview, and
endless stomping terrain, the Pharm had dropped
about 600 cd's on NY and met some of the
most roots folks on the scene. T-was a nice
 trip.
THE PLOT THICKENS:
to be continued..

APRIL 1st 2007 UPDATE:
So, Audiopharmacy's last shows have finally
been selling out.

from the community. Thanks for that.
Also, much apologies to those who have been
turned away. Elbo room sold out by 11:30
and Balazo shut its doors by 11:15. For the
record, it wasn't true that we had already
played by 11:30 at Balazo. That was just a
rumor that the bouncers created to keep
people from still trying to get in the venue.
No blame on Balazo tho, they have their
reasons (policia of course). Much luv 2 La
Familia, the event was definately roots.
We'll do more f'sho.

MARCH 12, 2007 UPDATE:

Today, we experience and face loss.
 ..deep breath.
This is a dedication to those who have
passed on and all who have been left
behind here. All who have silently
shouted streams of painful tears. All
who have stared through the sands
directly into the eyes of our ancestors.
We first struggle for answers that could
never fix a thing, then must cope to
cure the illness. Natalie Simon you are
constantly in the thoughts of mine and
many. Kenji, with the moons set, new
beauty shall be born to vehicle her spirit
back into our lives. Natalie Simon was
one of the most caring and gentlest
creatures Ive known. So difficult to find
the reasoning behind such an unfortunate
fate. Its an illusion that we all live to
grow old so please, love your loved ones
til they cant stand you anymore.
Blessteao.

I have attached an mp3 to the top of this

MONTAGS DUST: "Montag is Dead" Montags Dust has been a part of the Audiopharmacy family for many years now. Squil aka Bruno Fortuno, and Kenji 451 are two very talented producers and musicians from Berlin, Germany, who make the most beautiful instrumental downbeat ever. "Montag is Dead" is perfect for bumpin in the dark. It is available upon request now (thepharm@audipharmacy.com), and will be available on the site soon. SQUIL: "Vulcano Syndrom" Squil came too sick with this one. Night time prescribed music for you to journey to. Just as fulfilling as any Montags Dust prescription that hasn't come out yet. This album also features Zygoat on a track. Available online soon, or by personal request now. (thepharm@audiopharmacy.com.) EARTH QUAKE WEATHER: Volume one Zygoat, Lucien, Turtle, Pasha, and other members of Audiopharmacy got together to drop the grimeyest, darkest, album underground hip hop ever had to offer. The entire project is mixed together from start to finish like a hip hop horror flick in which we live. Feedus Kadaver did most of the production on the MPC and Turtle infected it nice with scratches and some production cameos as well. Lucien and Zygoat mostly killed the mics, but other are featured as well. EQW- Underground hip hop in a maggot infested straight jacket. Enjoy. (soon available online, available now upon request- thepharm@audiopharmacy.com) LIVE HUMAN CD INFO: : 9/3/06 - BREAKSEVEN REMIXES RELEASED!!!: You bought the breakrecord. You bought it twice, now get ready for the much anticipated release of Breakseven Remixes. Like we said way back before we left for Mars: "We gave 24 of our favorite DJ's and producers each a set of these waxes and what we got back was 24 mind melting trackses. No shit." Well, now you can hear it for yo'self. Tracks by the finest stars of the underground: Fingerbangers, Cheap Cologne, Teao, Shingo2, Sniper, Tino Corp., Centipede, Zeph, Pone, Spair, and Pismo... and MORE... Available from CD Baby this October! EARWORM: Volume one DJ Werd and Squil's vinyl projects...stay tuned. ALSO: Big ups to "Plan B" (Brooklyn, NY). Much props to "One Struggle" for kicking off their first West Coast tour this month as well. (feat. Ras k'dee and I Sense of Audiopharmacy) Stay tuned for tour dates. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=4566203 Gracias...Offerings _____________________ SEPTEMBER 22ND LAST ENTRY OF THE EURO TOUR: PHEWW, MADE IT BACK HOME SAFE... ...The pharm has been more than blessed. After a journey like the "Spare Change" Euro tour, a question like "how was your trip?" will leave a brother speechless. FROM THE TOP: We flew into Berlin, had 3 days until our first show. Hit the street, made mad noise, packed in our first show with a good crowd in a small venue. Got the right people to show, and Boom, got booked at a huge show at Sage Club a week later. Somehow ended up playing during the prime slot when the crowd was the thickest and knocked our set out proper. Crowd goes crazy and...Boom...made another connect for Cairo, Egypt this time. Aite aiite...what's next? We just kept rockin shows and makin noise in the streets until by the end of the tour, we were booked every single night (sometimes double booked) and were still getting hit up for more shows that we had to turn down. The perfect ending of the tour was at the YAAM (Berlin's most famous venue...an African community center with beach, b-ball Skate board ramp, dance club, jaimaican food...etc.), the last evening before our return. But first... COMMERCIAL BREAK: he he (Audiopharmacy is independent, support is much appreciated) New Clothing: Starring Pasha Zoolander

BEFORE THE YAAM: DRESDEN The morning after playing one of our shows, we realized that we needed to travel three hours to Dresden, Germany for the next. Uhh...we had no ride at all. This is were I gotta give a shout to all who hooked us up with wips throughout the entire trip...Asma (r.i.p. 2 your muffler) , Alex, Leo, S-rock, Myrial, Squil's pop, Squil's queen, David, S-rock again. Shoot, and even Natalie for walking us to some spots. You all really came through for us. We'll roll you in our hummer on the "big cheese" tour next year. he he. So anyways, after scramblin together some rides, we hit the autobahn. (mad scary) We showed up in Dresden barely in time for sound check and played at Altes Wettburo. This show was one of our favorites of the tour. Good folks, nice oil drum fire-pit out back, and best of all, the party never died. I think we must have played until 5 am. Oh, and the flaming orange liquer was a nice touch even if Gregg Green burned his hand trying to do the suction to the palm trick. Much luv to everybody at the party and to those who blessed the open mic track. A special shout to Justi, for being a great host. (if you know him, tell him thank you since he cant understand this.) THE DAY AFTER: The day after the Altes Wettburo show, we hit the street for some grub at the local soupery to get our eats on. Ah... props to the soup lady for makin it the best way...complimentary. Like i said before, blessed. During lunch/breakfast, one of the guys were peepin a local magazine (the dresdener) in the soup shop and tossed me the magazine opened up....Boom, Teao and Ras K' dee chillin on page 30. They wrote a real nice article about the whole click. Good sheizer f'sho. Caught another later that day as well. Peep the translation in the DVD. Oh can't leave out shouts to the "Supreme" hip hop shop crew and the womens clothing boutique click next door as well. Dresden showed much luv. YAAM (GOING AWAY PARTY): Obviously if we wrote up every show on the tour, this letter would be way too long..for me at least. I'm not gonna write about every show, but one show that must be mentioned was at a venue that was mysteriously calling us throughout the entire trip. First we noticed it since reggae artist, Anthony B was playing there the week we showed up, but we missed the show. It seemed that every day we were in Berlin, at least one person mentioned to us that the sickest place for us to play and the sickest place just to plain kick it, is at the YAAM. Teao kept our last day scheduled with nothing, just to reserve it for the perfect venue. The YAAM became the target. After playing there for our last show of the tour, now I know why. It was like rockin a show on a caribbean island. There was a beach with fire torches, a half-pipe skateboard ramp doused in graffiti, b-ball courts, mad African folks, and on top of that, we had our back stage laced with authentic Jamaican cuisine. Since it was the last show of the tour, we had a huge following of fans from the other shows we played in our travels, and on top of that, all our homeys we met along the way came to kick it. We finished our last magazine interview and photoshoot on the beach then hit the stage just before sunset. We played through the sunset into the night with three little kids on stage with us rockin as our back up dancers. K' dee got em on the mic with their first lessons of crowd control as well. I could have sworn I even caught a 6 year old crumpin. We played for a few hundred of the coolest folks in Germany. Strictly roots. Really though...ortwin, leah, asraf, and all those who make that community center possible, deserve mad love for their movement. It started as a place where people that didn't have much, could go and kick it comfortably. Now it it is that plus mixed with nothing but positive energy. From what I hear, a corporation has bought the property and is planning to build office spaces on the land. It was an honor to play at such a legendary spot and we wish YAAM the best. Much respect 2 U and the rest who made the Spare Change Euro tour possible...Offerings. shouts to all the characters on the set: DJ werd, Squil, Kenji 451, Erina, Natalie, Anna, Lena, Myrial, Rick Wayne, The Pharm back home and on the tour, Focker, Beeski, Wendel, Martin and all the staff at the Wendel, Squil's family and signif. other, the tech museum, Paula's mom, Deborah in Amsterdam, Asma, Dalila, and all Asma n Dalila's sistas, Susana, Angel, Fabiano, all the folks at the Brasil party on Oranien str., The lentil soup dealers, Falafels on every corner, Trishes, Albi, Justi and the girls next door, the owner of the boat we rocked in Dresden, The soup girl in dresden, Kai, Sandra, Sakari, Akanni at soul city magic, Leah, Ortwin, Ashraf, Black Twang, Nakita, Sotu, Leon, DJ Vhadim, One Self, the ex ambulance workers, dj hype, Corbet at acud, Gregg Green, Keepyahjoy, Ras K' dee, Teao, and my self-Offerings. To be continued... SEPTMEBER 10TH AUSTRIA ...Been a journey beyond imagination. Smashed in the 9 seat Mercedes tour van on the Autobahn for nine hours straight thanks to Alex, our personal driver. Ridin in Style (other than the fact that none of the seats came with a recline option... guess that's just how the Peans be gettin down). Got to Innsbruck just in time for a nice meal with the promoters and a clean light n sound check. Now Keep in mind we just came from chaotic Amsterdam. Innsbruck was lovely. It seemed small and had beautiful mountains looking down on the town. After getting out of our van and inhaling the fresh Innsbruck mountain air, the peaceful vibes were appreciated. Little did we know...the night would soon turn to madness. Good madness at that. INNSBRUCK GETS IT KRUNK: Backstage...Kenji 451, our violin player was leaned back on the couch with his baseball cap pulled over his face trying to catch catch any last sleep the anti- recline seats of the van couldn't give him. After a few nudges, he's up...let's do this. "Long Lost Relative," Werd, Kenji 451, and Squil (Audiopharmacy Prescriptions) opened up the set with some beautiful instrumental music with keys, tables, backtrack, and violin. From what I hear and have now experienced, Innsbruck, and Austria in general fiends for anything new and different from your typical commercial scene. The intro to our set, Long Lost Relative played was mad emotional, and epic...real nice. After that, it was on. The rest of the click came on and rocked it for about one and half hours. The crowd was so hype, the time went by like nothing. We even had a few stage dives. I'm telling you...Innsbruck gets it krunk. Ras k'dee had hundreds chanting melodies, Teao had some guy up on the stage directing the crowd to give him props during the "Miles" guitar solo, and Keepyahjoy was busy nudgin some guy with his foot simply trying to save the brotha's hearing. Kids, unless you want to permanantly rattle your brain, it's not a good idea to rest your head on the bass amplifier during a live concert...it's just not. SET 2: Okay, so the show went well. They dug us and begged for an encore. We gave it to em. We finished the encore and were done. Beat as hell! DJ Werd held it down on the decks and we all mingled a bit, sold some of our new shirt designs, and got a grip of "Spare Chainge" albums off. Much love to all who supported. Artist such as Maya Azucena, Ras Attitude, and DJ Werd are also featured on this project. BACK TO PHARM NEWS... Deep down, we were feening for sleep at this point. For some reason though, as tired as you may be, as many toothbrushes you may lose in a week, as many hard wood floors you must hug during a journey. ...for some reason, like dessert after dinner, there's always enough energy for a second set if the crowd is great. Teao hopped on the decks to give the crowd some self produced funk n soul/hip hop remixes, then asked the soundman to hook the mics back up. Then Gregg Green hopped on the mic hyping things up a bit, and before you know it, the crowd was front and center and the entire Audiopharmacy 7 piece ensemble was live on stage rockin again. Only this time, our set was freestyle. We had all kinds of people get on with us including Wisdom from Austrian hip hop group Wisdom and Slyme. Ish was hot...real hot. After the show the street was coverd in nothin but straglers. People sitting all over the sidewalks, peeing on walls, just lookin like drunken zombies. For the third time...say it with me...Innsbruck gets it KRUNK. ...Offerings SEPTEMBER 8TH So anyways...It's late. We got back from our days in Amsterdam which was off the fkin chain by the way. I can't even start to explain all the crazy events that went down over there cuz there was just too much action. The good news..we did film a bunch, and the dvd will be action packed for damn sure. We got back from our 9 hour bus ride this morning, got locked out of the Berlin spot and ended up spending the rest of the day with Tommy and Dan Wolf from Felonious. Tonight, we took them to the first spot that we played out here called the Wendel. On a Thursday night, it is mainly just a cafe/bar type vibe with trip hop djs. We pulled some tables together to make one long chill spot for us all to politic and of course, what happened? The management hooked up some mics and routed them over to our table. Now I'm not sure if you're familiar with Felonious, but basically Tommy is a supa supa dope beatboxer and Daniel is a mad creative MC. Together with the Pharm?... Let's just say with two mics and a long table of folks and chairs, the spot was rocked... hard. No cameras, no recordings. Sometimes you just gotta leave things up to your imagination. All I can say... ish was tight. That was our little half day break from the tour...and now? Gotta get up in an hour (7am) to hop in the tour van and ride 9 hours to innesbruk, Austria. Me go sleep now. Maybe later you'll get the Amsterdam scoop. peace, Offerings. SEPTEMBER 2ND Okay... a lot has gone down since last talk. I want to start off by giving mad shots to Lena, Myrial and all others who helped us out on the tour so far. And a special B-day shout to Maryam Brooks. So anyways. The way things have been working out for Audiopharmacy has been amazing... AFTER OUR 3 SHOWS AT THE TEKNIC MUSEUM, we were beat and went home to relax. After realizing our hunger pains were kickin in, we wanted to celebrate the success of our show and invitation by the museum to come back out next summer, we hit the streets for a restaurant hunt. Well, on the walk to the restaurant, we caught a glimpse of a house party up on the second floor of a flat. The back of a plugged in acoustic/electric guitar his hard to pass up. Sure enough, we ended up inside. Nuthin but Brasilian and Cuban folks in there, partying with mad percussions guitar, vocals, and purely good vibes... it was perfect. From speaking with some folks in the party, Teao learned that the daughter of the head of the legendary YAAM was in the house, chillin. THE YAAM If you don't know the YAAM, it is an African community center with a beach, basketball courts, a halfpipe, dance club, and good folks. http://www.yaam.de/ In Berlin it is known to be dopest, most famous spot in the community. Anthony B had just played there and we wanted to hit there most for our going away show. Teao immediatley tipped Ras into the mic and it was on from there. Live guitar, timbales, cow bell, bongos and all kinds of other percussions played by members of the party, you know how brasilians do. Ras got the crowd chanting as usual and the vibes were definately proper. Audiopharmacy represent. Twas a good night. to be continued... SAGE CLUB So on the August 27th journal entry, I mentioned something about Audiopharmacy being offered to hop on at the Sage Club benefit for Africa event. This is to be a huge event with One Self - Dj Vadim's click. Well, the only way that we could be fit into the schedule, was if this mysterious reggae artist from Jamaica could integrate sets with us. Rick Wayne was his name. We were blind to him being any good and most importaly had fears of possible bull-headedness. "Maybe he'll demand us to play all his tracks rather than our original riddims." After spending 2 days of imagining the worst, and a grip of bad chappell / Rick James/Wayne impersonations..."I'm Rick Wayne Bitch!" ...play my riddims.", he flew in and came to DJ Werd's crib. A real humble dude f'sho. Blessed once again. HIs style is nice...was trained by Freddie MacGreggor himself. We kept our set and integrated his lyrics throughout. SHOWTIME Last night, we hit the stage, and like I mentioned before, Lena and Myrial- the promoters of the event really hooked us up. We had a Prime slot. The Club was packed in when we went on and boy, we got it crackin. We ended the set with a dancehall/hip hop/middle eastern riddim and boom...The applause was bangin. After our set, we instantly were bombarded with autographed cd hungry Berliners, and much luv. Backstage, Vadim and his click were chillin and gave sincere props as well. Next month they're coming to record with Teao at the pharm in San Francisco as well. On the promoter tip...shouts to Asthma as well, a promoter who caught the show and is currently setting us up with shows in Amsterdam, London, and...check it...Cairo, Egypt. Yup... ya boys gonna be rockin Egypt son. YAAM continued: Oh and the YAAM show was Confirmed today. We gonna play hard at the YAAM for Berlin and Africa no doubt. It's our last show of the tour so all who can make it definatley got to come out for this. Out...respect, Offerings ps. thanks to dj werd and Squil for letting us all crash at the crib... hostel steez. You know we luv you. ________________________________ AUGUST 27TH BERLIN YO!...Berlin is crakin f'sho. I can't remember the days anymore, but we're about 4 or five days into the trip. Teao started tagging numbers on the toilet paper rolls and I think the last one I saw was number 4. So anyways, I have mad good news but i'll save it for last. First of all, two days ago we played our first show together as a full band. It was sort of a practice since it was the first time the SF folks, NY, and Berlin folks all got to really throw down for a crowd. FOILED?: The night before, Ras k'dee started losing his voice during practice, and Teao cut his finger pretty deep on some jagged metal at a club. Never the less... the party went on. Ras pulled a couple verses out of the set and even took a kleenex break right in the middle (with permission from the audience of course.) Teao's cut finger luckily didn't bother him too much since it was a little off from where his finger touches the frets of his guitar. We good. THE RESPONSE: We played our asses off and everytime i looked into the crowd, I thought ...damn, they're just not getting it. There were attentative, but not really hype to see us it seemed. I kept noticing this one girl whom i recognized as being a promoter for a large event coming up featuring One Self-DJ Vadim / Yarah Bravo and a bunch of other famous heads around Germany. At least kats were nodding their heads n thangs, but this promoter was just standing there picking her nail or something. Times like this...you just gotta close your eyes and feel what you're creating. If it sounds good and they still don't like it..they'll never understand it. So anyways, we played on and actuall got the crowd makin noise from about halfway through the set and on. We opened up the mic and apparently one of dopest freestyle mc's in berlin got on the mic. I can't remember the name, but he was a friend of S rok's who used to be in "Die Sekte". This girl, Vivian sung as well...she killed it too. IN THE END: So, it was wierd...as soon as we finished our set...the crowd went wild and applauded nicely. They dug it. We were hit up for more shows, a store rep. wanted to buy most of our apparel, vinyl, and cds in bulk, and got all kinds of love from the fans, some of wich were loyal to us for six years plus after hearing our older "Kaotic Souls" records. The craziest thing of all ...this promoter who'm i thought was feeling her nails more than our live show, came with a huge smile and told us she loved the show. She said her next event was booked, but she wants to somehow sqeeze us in the mix. Today she called and want us to play a joint set with another performer. We'll see what's up with that. After asking the German members of Audiopharmacy and Long Lost Relative about the blank response, they each told us "nah..thats just the culture in Berlin. We got a great response for Berliners more than usual." Hmmmm...i guess there's to nails than meets the eye. THE DEUTSCHES TECHNIKMUSEUM: So last night brought us the real good news. First, Ras's voice was gone completely and he couldn't play at all so we were worried. This was a classy event and it was important for us to play this gig well. We were booked for 3 shows this day and all three shows were at this annual event where the most famous museum in Berlin stays open through the night one time a year. Many have requested to hear an instrumental set from Audiopharmacy, Kaotic Souls, or Teao n Offerings, for years, but it has never happened. Never. Just too many of the homeys are blessed with nice vocal skills. Well... THE GOOD NEWS: We did it...8pm. We started our first instrumental set after 15 years of lyrical sets. It was dope. Between Kenji 451 (violin), Teao (guitar, tables, and melodica), Gregg (guitar), myself-Offerings (turntables), Squil (keys), and Dj Werd (turntables, melodica), we kept conversations of instrumental verses going on all night long. First 8pm, then 10pm, then 12pm. The crowed loved it. Some people even told us that they were lost in the museum trying to find us and when they asked the security for our location, the security was happy to tell them how good the band was and how Audiopharmacy's the best band that's played there before. Now, you have to understand, we were playing for a huge museum in Germany. There were about 15 to 25 airplanes in this huge room, and the crowd consisted of elderly people, kids, and of course our regular alternative hip hop fans. We had a elderly women from the block buying our stuff. It was the shizl yo. After we finished our last set at midnight, we were bombarded with fans hungry for autographs. Then Teao cut out and dipped down to the bar on the first floor and said when he walked in, the bar gave an applause for the group. The woman who booked the event was there and told him, she wants to fly the rest of the group out next year from SF to do it again...only this time they want to pay triple! I'm not gonna mention any numbers, but put it this way, our mission was to make our airplane ticket money back in a month of tour. Check it... we test drove and came close to purchasing 1990 4 door BMW with beat and a sun roof today only with the money we've made in less than a week of our tour. Not bad. Talk soon....offerings ___________________ AUGUST 24 EUROPE Whoa...so the pharm has been in Europe for 3 days and it's already been a journey. Where can I begin. (beginning of update begins before "day one.") DIA TRES Top of the morning...as we were passing out last night at 5am, Teao remembered that Gregg Green was flying in from NY at 8:30 am. well, the airport is 45 minutes away from Werd's crib and Teao has no idea how to get there. whatever...Teao was about 45 minutes late, but sure enough...gregg was chillin with guitar in hand at the Tegal airport, Berlin-9:30 am. Yo son. SF, NY, Berlin...the click grows thick. Gregg passed out first thing and Keepyahjoy, Ras, and Teao got their first day of sun on while other slept. This was nice. Our first day of slangin merch was a true success. Lots of good folks met and promotions for the show on Friday handled. Surprisingly, many claimed to have already heard of us...good sheizer. The horizon is lookin promising. Tonight...Dj shadow concert. ...We arrived late to the Shadow show and ended up promoting to the departing crowd and slangin more merch. Then ended up at an outdoor house music club on the water. We are ridin like 8 deep, so by now people are coming up to us asking for flyers for shows n cds n thangs. In leaving the house music club, walkin up the street as the pulsating house music fades, i hear chainsaw bumpin mad loud. (One of the new joints on Spare Chainge) Some suited up gentlemen are standing in front of a club bumpin it in their ride with open trunk...loud. The plague is spreading. DAY TW0 da rain... We tried to hit the street, but the rain defeated us. Back to the crib. we set up the mass cd duplicator in the corner of werds home and got mad audioflyer snippet cds crackin. Pharm sweatshop in full effect. Got a stack of flyers for the shows comin up, audioflyers, and spare chainge full lenth albums cocked back and fully loaded. Kenji 451 from Montags Dust and Long Lost Relative came through to bless us with his violin skills, and Squil got all the set sounds loaded in his sampler. Werd got his serrato turntable program set up, Keepyahjoy fixed his bass, Teao got his guitar efx hooked up, Ras aquired a mic...Audiopharmacy international- session one was on. DAY ONE We got in town and hit the club where Werd was spinning on the first night. Next thing you know, Ras k' dee is on the mic and Teao is droppin instrumental cuts and scrapes on the decks. We sold 50 euros worth of merch and inhaled a grip of second hand smoke. Coughin loogies to the boonies all next morning. Day one was nice ...got our euros on and got to meet some of the Berlin folks. Learned, this city never sleeps. Stayed up till 8am. JOURNEY TO THE PLANE: Stayed up all night, shot to the SFO airport at 5:30 am n runnin mad late as usual. (less than 1 hour til departure) Pulled up to the drop off curb, ran the bags in, weighed them out on the scales, pulled stuff out until they were 51, 52, and 53 pounds overweight figuring..."close enough." Ras never checked his. Meanwhile... cops outside ticketing the van-$35. Running out of time...we spit up. Ras k'dee got in line (huge), Keepyahjoy, stayed with pile of bags (mad merch n instruments), teao n myself took the van to a parking lot. (30 min til departure) Took shuttle back to the airport. Ras n Keepyahjoy already at the front counter getting hassled...ticketing agent from hell. Have less than 20 minutes til flight departure. Hassles us for four overweight bags. Ras is over by 17lbs-pays...$25. Agent complains about the bags being 1, 2, n 3 lbs overweight. One hog tied ticketing agent coming right up. We work it out and run like wind. Huge line through security ...we mash through first class line telling people we got 10 minutes till departure. All get through security, exept for one casualty...Teao gets sweated. Missed flight. Teao booked a second flight that gave him 25 minutes connecting time in NY ..JFK. to the pharm flight to Berlin. Gate is all the way at other end of airport. Teao runs ass off carrying muchas vinyl and other sheizer. Barely makes it to plane with no breath and mad cotton mouth. Pharm united. _______________ AUGUST 15 Much respect to ESA for bringing us down to San Diego. The event this past weekend was off the chain. We smashed, three cars deep on a 8 hour drive, and arrived just in time to throw down. Stepwise killed it on the decks, getting the crowd nice n ripe for the audiopharmacy set, then the Pharm threw down for a packed house. The party was supa crackin. Niceone didn't quite finish his painting by the end of the set, wich worked out nicely cuz then he had a crowd of people gathered around watching him throw down solo before he sold it. Audiopharmacy is definately feeling the San Diego luv and plans on keeping the visits consistent. The SD show was our first show of the European "Spare Change" tour and kicked it off real nice. Thanks to all those who attended and supported with merch purchases and just plain luv. On Sunday we'll hit Berlin, Germany and the true journey begins. 2. "Spare Change" update: The last month and a half has been nothing but studio time. Three AM to noon studio sessions at the expressions SL 9000 studio in Oakland. Nolan Craw and Teao on the reel to reel mastering and , Sef and Niceone on the artwork and cd layout design. On the reals, Teao spent 34 hours straight in Keepyahjoy's studio, eating only one meal and nothing but vietnamese peanuts. The outcome, a fluid album with bridges to all the songs. Niceone fractured his skull this month on his skateboard and still handled the cover art like a true champ. Hope you dig it. teao n the sl9000 flick here: Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Well, good news, it's finished and we're just mastering the tracks this week and killin the album art. Niceone, Sef, and Clayton Rochemont are gonna be handling that element nicely. Then, off to the manufacturing plant. We'll have them just in time for our European tour on August 20th. As for news on that, stay posted for tour dates. Oh and for those who missed it, the La Pena show was a beautiful night. The entire audiopharmacy fam played precise, and Gomba jahbari finished off the night with an extremely impressive set. Then the day after, Gomba and Audiopharm recorded a track last thing before Gomba Jahbari set off for their home in Puerto Rico. We'll have that one in the DVD. Hollar soon. Offerings JUNE 23RD OHHH THE LOVELY BAY....EAST COAST PHARM EXCURSION TURNED INTO A JOURNEY AND THEN SOME: After Wash DC and NY excursions... Teao and Gregg stayed up late for their last night in NY for a while and met up at hip hop show in Manhattan to link with Ivan, Maya Azucena, Belo, Aiko from World Up, Okai, and Thailan from Long Lost Relative. After not sleeping much at all...7 am- Teao and Gregg split up in Brooklyn to run errands separately and link back at the amtrak ticket counter of Penn Station. 11am- Gregg calls Teao from a payphone: "Yo son, meet in five minutes at Duane Reede...the department/grocery store to get some food for the ride." After an hour of waiting at 3 Duane Reedes in the area and killing a half of a loaf of bread, Teao gave up and was walking to catch the train to their show in Toronto when they bumped into each other. Next page... it turns out the only train to toronto had already left so they had to catch the next best thing...a train to Niagra Falls. A 9 hour train ride goes by while Clay, the promoter of the event, is asking everybody in Toronto for a whip to drive the 1.5 hours it takes to pick their stranded asses up. About four hours into the trip, he got one locked, about 7 hours into the ride, he lost it. Finally Teao and Gregg got to the Falls and Clay simyltaneously borrowed a car and got on the road. Now, being that nobody gets paid in advance for shows, the two nomads were flat broke. The train landed at Niagra Falls at about midnight, they took a cab to Canada. And the only thing open was the imfamous casinos... and more casinos. Gregg gave Teao his last 60 beans and explained..."I'm not good with money... hold it for me." Teao explained... "Aiiite but i'm gonna play it." First shot at roulette....all 60 bones on the table .....gone! After that, there was no choice, an atm withdrawl for that last 300 beans holdin down the bottom the Audiopharmacy account, and 2 hours to lose or make the ride home. Two hours later at the cash out spot... "Here's your winnings sir...$360" ...exactly what we walked in with...on the dot! (plus a 5 dollar chip that somehow got lost in Teao's pocket and was accedentally kept as a souvenir.) To make a long story short...they got to Toronto, stayed in a beautiful high riser apartement with windows from floor to ceiling and a view of the lovely Lake Ontario. NICE. The show was crackin supa fat with a crowd of good peeples, MP3, Satva, Teao, and Gregg Green on the 3 decks, guitar, and melodica and mics, after the show...caught a ride to buffalo from MP3, got hassled in customs and stuck in the office for some time, rented a car, drove through scary hickville vibes for 10 hours speeding to catch Teao's flight, got to airport in Wash DC, asked to cut through line to make it to kiosk in time for check in, checked in with only 3 minutes to spare!, Gregg was left at the gate with 5 beans, the Audiopharmacy credit card, and a phone number of a DC contact in case of strandedness came into effect. After Teao got back to the bay... being that the only way to get ahold of Gregg was to text his broke phone and wait for an e-mail, he texted him for 2 days and finally recieved a phone call from Alamo rental car company..."Hello, we have found your cell phone in the car you rented." Uh....yep Gregg left his phone in DC then took the train to NY, bumped into his brother in law at Penn Station, who was visiting NY from Amsterdam, went back to his brother in law's hotel and played him the Audiopharmacy "Spare Change" snippets cd. Then he left it for him and what was tucked "safely" in the sleeve?...the Audiopharmacy credit card of course. Well, the credit card went all the way to Amsterdam the next day and is currently in the mail on its way to San Francisco. As for the phone...it was supposedly mailed to Brooklyn, but still no sign of it. Well, like I said before. A journey and then some. -Offerings June 10th EAST COAST PHARM EXCURSIONZ: DC is out the way, NY was quick, but mad productive, and after a 12 hour train ride and almost getting stranded in Niagra Falls in the middle of the night ...Toronto is now.
